Indiana in Sole Possession of First Place After Day 2

Indiana claims the lead after Day 2 of the Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.  The Hoosiers brought home a gold medal in the 500-yard freestyle with freshman Nikki White setting a new meet record, touching the wall at 4:37.38.  Indiana enters the third day of competition with 250 points, followed by Minnesota with 236.  Michigan sits in third place with 156 points, trailed closely by Penn State with 155 team points.

Big Ten student-athletes return to the pool tomorrow with preliminaries beginning at 11 a.m., diving events at 1 p.m. and swimming finals at 6:30 p.m. Live Video is available throughout the event on
