Student Rec Center Natatorium and Texas A&M University will play host to the 2009 NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships. Competition begins on Thursday with the 200-yard medley relay and concludes on Saturday with the 400 freestyle relay. This year’s event will feature 59 Big Ten student-athletes from eight different institutions. In the latest NSCAA/adidas rankings, five conferences schools appear on the top-25 list. Minnesota fronts all schools at No. 11 followed closely No. 13 Indiana, No. 14 Wisconsin and No. 15 Penn State. Northwestern rounds out the conference contingent at No. 23.
