Suzy Favor Female Athlete of the Year Award Nominee -- Kelci Bryant, Minnesota

Through Friday, the Big Ten will highlight each of the 22 student-athletes nominated for the conference’s Jesse Owens Male and Suzy Favor Female Athlete of the Year Awards. Award winners are voted on by a pre-selected media panel and will be announced live on the Big Ten Network’s season-ending awards show on Monday at 6:30 p.m. CT.

KELCI BRYANT – MINNESOTA – DIVING
A two-time NCAA Champion, Bryant won the 1-meter and finished as the runner-up on the 3-meter in 2011. She has been named the Big Ten’s Diver of the Year and of the Championships in 2010 and 2011 and was named the NCAA’s Diver of the Year this season. A four-time first-team All-American, Bryant holds her school records in the 1- and 3-meters and was a U.S. Olympian in 2008. Click HERE for more information on Kelci.
