Swimmer of the Week

Susan Johnson, Wisconsin

Johnson earns Swimmer of the Week after helping Wisconsin win all 13 events against UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee by claiming three first-place finishes of her own.  Last year's Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Johnson took first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.05.  She won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:00.55 and was the leadoff swimmer in the 400-yard freestyle relay that posted a time of 3:34.34. 

Diver of the Week

Amanda Witte, Wisconsin
JR, LaGrange, Ill./Lyons Township
Witte earns Diver of the Week after claiming the top spot in both the one-meter and three-meter events Friday in Wisconsin's season opener, a double-dual meet against UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee.  The junior co-captain posted marks of 218.40 (1m) and 231.70 (3m).
