Big Ten Women's Swimmer of the Week

Wisconsin sophomore Yi Ting Siow earned Swimmer of the Week honors have winning all five of the events she competed in last week.  In addition to her handful of victories against Iowa and UW-Milwaukee, she also set both a pool and school record when she won the 200-yard breaststroke with an NCAA "A" standard qualifying time of 2:11.24, while setting a "B" standard provisional mark of 4:19.22 in the 400-yard individual medley.

Purdue senior Amanda Miller won the 1-meter competition and placed second off the 3-meter in the Boilermakers' season opener. Miller qualified for the NCAA Zone meet with her first place 1-meter score of 289.90 points, while finishing runner-up to teammate Chelsea Johnson off the 3-meter with 268.50 points.
