Swimmer of the Week

Trinidad collects Swimmer of the Week after posting two NCAA provisional qualifying marks in a losing effort at No. 5 Arizona, 120-141.  The junior finished first in the 400-yard individual medley in 4:20.57 and second in the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:01.18.  Trinidad also took first in the 200-yard freestyle with a mark of 1:50.93, just missing a third provisional time by one-tenth of a second.

Diver of the Week

McCambridge earns Diver of the Week after posting scores well over the NCAA Zone Qualifying standard in two meets last week.  In a triangular meet against No. 21 Arizona State and No. 23 Notre Dame, the junior competed well against strong competition, finishing first in the one-meter board with a score of 308.20 and second in the three-meter event, 295.40.  McCambridge scored a personal best on Saturday at the Indiana Intercollegiates off the three-meter board with a 312.10, and posted a 295.00 in the one-meter competition.
