The conference office announced on Tuesday the fifth weekly women’s swimming and diving award winners of the season for meets through Nov. 2-9. Wisconsin’ Maggie Meyer garners her third swimming accolade of the season and Minnesota’s Kelci Bryant collects her second-consecutive weekly diving honor.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week:
Maggie Meyer, Wisconsin

Wisconsin’s Maggie Meyer collects her third weekly award of the season after sweeping the 100- and 200-yard backstroke against Arizona and UNLV on Friday. The junior recorded her fifth NCAA cut of the season in the 100 back with her winning time of 54.41 and then posted a 1:59.50 to claim the 200 back -- her first time all season to not meet NCAA consideration in the event. She also helped the Badgers score a win in the 200 free relay, splitting an outstanding 22.95 on the race's second leg to contribute to UW's winning time of 1:34.01. Meyer also helped UW to a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay in 1:42.21. Meyer remains unbeaten in individual events on the season and has now earned the last four weekly swimming honors for the Badgers.

Kelci Bryant, Minnesota

Sophomore Kelci Bryant earns her second weekly laurel in as many weeks after dominating the diving field in Minnesota’s dual-meet win at Iowa. The Gopher sophomore captured top honors on both platforms, winning the one-meter event with a score of 314.85 – 50 points better than the second-place finisher. She then followed that performance by besting the three-meter completion by over 88 points for the event title.
