Swimmer of the Week

Amberle Biedermann, Penn State
JR, Colorado Springs, Colo./Rampart
Biedermann earns Swimmer of the Week laurels after claiming two individual first-place finishes and swimming on a winning relay. The junior won the 200-yard butterfly in 2:05.23 and was part of a 200-yard medley relay team that finished in a time of 1:43.33. Biedermann also won an exhibition race of the 100-yard butterfly (56.69).

This is Biedermann's second career Swimmer of the Week award. The Nittany Lions defeated West Chester, 181-108.

Diver of the Week

Alison Riccobono, Penn State
SR, Ypsilanti, Mich./Ypsilanti
Riccobono collects Diver of the Week after sweeping the one and three-meter springboard events. The senior won the one-meter board (278.48) and the three-meter event with a score of 294.90.

This is Riccobono's second weekly award of the season and third of her career.
