Swimmer of the Week

Johnson nabs Swimmer of the Week honors after collecting four top three individual finishes at the Texas Invitational last weekend.  The sophomore qualified for the 2005 NCAA Championships with three automatic marks, including first place finishes in the 100-yard (53.70) and 200-yard backstroke (1:55.32) events, which are also new school records.  Her time of 53.64 in the prelims of the 100-yard butterfly was also an "A" standard, while she finished third in the event final (53.82). 

This is Johnson's second Swimmer of the Week award of the year and third of her career.  Wisconsin finished third out of a 13-team field that included No. 4 Texas, No. 5 Arizona and No. 6 SMU. 

Diver of the Week

Jessica Livingston, Minnesota

Livingston collects her first career Diver of the Week accolade after a strong showing at the Georgia Invitational last weekend.  The freshman took the top spot over 12 divers to win the three-meter board (500.80), placed third in the one-meter (248.40) and had the best score among eight divers in the platform competition (419.15).
