Co-Swimmer of the Week
Kelly Werner, Iowa

Werner has been named Co-Swimmer of the Week after she swept three individual events as the Hawkeyes defeated instate rival Iowa State 156-144 last week. The senior claimed first in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke events in 57.01 and 2:04.76, respectively. She also claimed the 100 butterfly in 57.12. This is the third time this season Werner has swept these three events as she has now compiled 11 total individual victories thus far. This is the first weekly accolade of her career.
Rachael Hagerman, Michigan State
SR, Goodland, Kan./Goodland
Hagerman collects Co-Swimmer of the Week honors after touching the wall first in one individual event and helping two relays post first place finishes in a 137-106 sweep over Ball Stat last week. The senior captured the 100 yard freestyle event with a time of 52.33 before helping her 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams record victories in 1:48.38 and 1:36.99, respectively. This is her first weekly award this season and second of her career as she was also honored on Dec. 23, 2002.
Diver of the Week
Nancilea Underwood, Iowa
SR, Spring, Texas/Oak Ridge
Underwood picks up her third honor this season as she has been named Diver of the Week after sweeping both the one and three-meter diving events for the third time this season. The senior scored 291.37 points on the one-meter board before winning the three-meter competition with a score of 338.47. She now has a total of seven first place finishes in 10 events in her senior campaign and has now received weekly honors five times in her career.
