Buelens earns Swimmer of the Week after leading the Buckeyes to a 151-137 win against Denver Saturday at the Florida Atlantic Invite. The freshman recorded three individual first-place finishes, as she won the 100- and 200-yard freestyle events in 52.97 and 1:52.69, respectively. Buelens touched the wall first in 200-yard butterfly (2:03.75) and was part of the 200-yard freestyle relay that posted a winning time of 1:38.26.
This is Buelens' first career weekly award. Ohio State will be back in action on January 8 when it hosts Indiana in a Big Ten meet.
