The 44th-ranked Michelle DaCosta started her final dual match season off on the right foot, claiming victories in singles and doubles against DePaul. After teaming with Kara Delicata for a commanding 8-2 win over Beatrix Csordas and Gergana Ganeva at No. 1 to clinch the doubles point for U-M, DaCosta clinched the team win with an impressive 6-2, 6-2 triumph over Csordas at No. 1 singles.
This is DaCosta's second career Athlete of the Week selection. She was the last Michigan tennis player to earn the award when she received her first career award on April 21, 2004.
