Rose topped No. 3 Amanda McDowell of Georgia Tech over the weekend to help lead No. 7 Northwestern past the No. 1 and defending national champion Yellow Jackets in a 6-1 dual win.  With the team score tied at 1-1, ninth-ranked Rose took control in the last two sets of the match at No. 2 singles to defeat McDowell, 0-6, 6-2, 6-1.  The Wildcats are now 3-0 on the season and have put up a combined dual score of 20-1 so far.  This is Rose's fifth career weekly honor, and her first of 2008.
