Sophomore Georgia Rose posted a 2-1 singles record at the ITA Indoor Championships,helping the
Wildcats to their first semifinals in nine appearances. Rose defeated two ranked opponents, with her only loss coming to the nation's No. 1 singles player, Audra Cohen of Miami. In doubles, Rose, with partner Alexis Prousis, defeated two ranked opponents, including Miami's No. 1 pair, sixth-ranked Farah and Banada. Their last match against Notre Dame's Catrina and Christian Thompson, ranked 11th, was never finished with the doubles point clinched and the Wildcats leading 7-6. Rose knocked off 41st-ranked Catrina Thompson of Notre Dame in the Wildcats 4-3 losing effort in the semifinals.
