Freshman Lui Garners Player of the Week Honor

Freshman Lauren Lui picked up her first Athlete of the Week honor for her efforts against conference rivals #25 Michigan and Penn State. Lui is the third Wildcat to pick up the honor this year.

Freshman Lauren Lui went 2-0 in singles at the No. 4 spot and 2-0 in doubles at No. 2 with partner Keri Robison. Lui trailed 5-2 in the first set of her match against Jenny Shular of Michigan, but the freshman won the next 11-straight games to capture the 7-5, 6-0 straight-set victory. Lui needed three sets to down Penn State's Jenny Shular.
