Rabot wins the first Big Ten Athlete of the Week honor of her career after earning the match-clinching point in No. 57 Purdue’s 4-3 win over No. 30 Ohio State last Friday. The sophomore, appearing at No. 2 singles, defeated Ohio State’s Paloma Escobedo, 1-6, 7-5, 6-4, to break the 3-3 tie and improve her 2010 dual-match singles record to 11-0. Earlier in the match, Rabot and teammate Michelle Sammons paired at No. 1 doubles to knock off the Buckeye duo of Kelsey Haviland and Cami Hubbs, 8-3, to clinch the doubles point.
