Sarah Batty, IND

Batty, a senior, led the No. 33-ranked Hoosiers to a decisive 5-2 victory over No. 68 Louisville, their third ranked opponent of the season. Batty improved her record to 10-5 on the year at No. 1 singles by defeating powerful opponent Maria Klokotzky 6-3, 6-0. Batty then partnered with Laura McGaffigan to defeat Klokotzky and Robyn White at No. 1 doubles by a score of 8-5, which helped the Hoosiers pick upthe key doubles point. The pair improved their record to 12-3 on the year.
The weekly honor is Batty's second of the season after earning the accolade on February 15. She also took home athlete of the week honors as a junior on April 27, 2005.
