Iowa's Molnar Tabbed Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week

Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week Iowa's Sonja Molnar earns Big Ten Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week honors after picking up two wins at No. 1 singles and a win at No. 1 doubles in the Hawkeyes' matches against No. 55 LSU and Tulane. Molnar, ranked 114th in singles, kicked off the week with a 7-5, 7-5 win over No. 56 Whitney Wolf of LSU. Molnar and Jessica Young paired at No. 1 doubles in a narrow 8-6 loss to Wolf and Kaitlin Burns in the Hawkeyes' loss to the Tigers. Molnar and Young picked up an 8-3 win against Mariam Kurdaze and Emma Levy of Tulane and Molnar earned a 7-6, 6-1 victory over Kurdaze in Iowa's 4-3 win against the Green Wave on Friday.
