Veselinovic went 2-0 in singles this past week, recording wins at the No. 4 position against No. 15 Baylor and No. 21 TCU. The Iowa freshman defeated Baylor's Iva Mihaylova, 6-0, 6-3, while in doubles, along with Jacqueline Lee, the Hawkeye duo was barely edged by Zuzana Krchnakova and Mihaylova, 9-8 (4).
At TCU, Veselinovic defeated Gloriann Lopez, 6-4, 6-3, which improved her mark to 9-3 in dual singles, while going 20-5 for the entire 2004-05 season.
