Rose posted a perfect 6-0 record last week in helping the Wildcats to three consecutive shut out victories. The Mettawa, Ill. native won each of her singles matches in straight sets, one in 6-0, 6-0 fashion, and lost only four total games. With the three victories, the No. 36-ranked player in the country extending her singles winning streak to 18. Rose also paired up with senior Feriel Esseghir to go 3-0 on the week at No. 2 doubles. The duo won the decisive match to secure the doubles point for Northwestern in the win against Michigan State, and improved their overall record to 10-3.
The weekly honor is the first for the freshman. Northwestern currently ranks sixth in the nation.
