SO, Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest

Prousis was one of two Wildcats -- the other being junior Cristelle Grier -- to post a perfect 3-0 singles record and 2-0 doubles mark last week against California, Michigan and Michigan State. All three of Prousis' singles victories came in straight sets, and she dropped a total of only six games in her Conference matches against Michigan and Michigan State. Last Saturday against the Wolverines, she defeated Kara Delicata, 6-2, 6-1, before taking down Spartan Pascale Schnitzer, 6-2, 6-0, on Sunday. Prousis' singles record now stands at 23-7 overall -- the third-best overall mark for the No. 2 Wildcats. She is 12-3 in dual competition and 3-0 in the Big Ten. At doubles, rain washed out the competition in mid-week action at California, but Prousis continued her perfect run through the weekend's competition with a pair of Conference wins alongside partner Kristi Roemer. The 29th-ranked duo in the nation is 10-3 on the year and 3-0 in the League.

This is the second career Athlete of the Week selection for Prousis as she earned the honor on February 17, 2005.
