Meg Racette, IOWA
JR, Urbandale, Iowa/Urbandale

Racette, ranked No. 37 in the latest ITA poll, led Iowa to two conference wins over Michigan and Michigan State last weekend. For her part, Racette won each of her two No. 1 singles matches on the week against the Spartans' Christine Bader (6-4, 6-3) and Kara Delicata of the Wolverines (6-2, 6-3).  The then-No. 40 Hawkeyes upset then-No. 32 Michigan in come-back fashion.  Michigan led 2-0 after taking the doubles point and the first completed singles match, but Racette then finished off Delicata to cut the Wolverines' lead in half.  From there, the Hawkeyes never looked back and won each of the next four points for the 5-2 victory.

Racette picks up her second weekly honor of the season, and second of her career at  Iowa
