Kate Turvy, Northwestern
Jr. – Dublin, Ohio – Dublin Coffman
- Recorded a 5-1 record on the week, helping the Wildcats to victories over 15th-ranked Michigan (4-3), 18th-ranked Notre Dame (4-3) and Michigan State (7-0)
- Knocked off the Wolverines’ 10th-ranked Emina Bektas (6-3, 6-4), the Fighting Irish’s 54th-ranked Shannon Mathews (6-3, 6-2) and the Spartans’ Olga Chernova (6-0, 6-0) at No. 1 singles
- Teamed with Belinda Niu to defeat Michigan State’s Michaela Silesova and Nicole Herzog (8-0) at No. 1 doubles and Michigan’s Sam Critser and Sarah Lee (8-3) in No. 3 doubles action
- Earns her second conference honor of the season and the second of her career
