Illinois' Megan Fudge claimed her second Big Ten Athlete of the Week honor of the 2010 season and the fifth of her career. The senior went 2-0 at No. 1 singles over the weekend as the 13th-ranked Illini earned conference wins over No. 22 Iowa and No. 60 Minnesota. In Illinois' 6-1 win over Iowa, Fudge, ranked No. 106, knocked off No. 55 Sonja Molnar, 6-1, 6-3, recording her fifth win over a ranked foe this season. The following day against Minnesota, she teamed with Leigh Finnegan in an 8-4 win against Minnesota's No. 2 doubles team of Tijana Koprivica and Jackie Sperling before defeating Alessandra Ferrazzi, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8) in a 6-1 Illinois victory.
