With two wins last weekend against conference foes, the No. 9 Northwestern women's tennis team clinched the Big Ten regular season title. The Wildcat's perfect 9-0 conference record, including Sunday's 6-1 victory over No. 46 Purdue, guarantee's them the top seed for the 2006 Big Ten Championships, which will be held at the University of Illinois on April 24-27. Northwestern will be bidding for their eighth-consecutive conference crown. Their Big Ten's regular season concludes this weekend, when the remaining 10 seeds will be determined.
