She is a four-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and will be a three-time Academic All-Big Ten choice.
Schaub, a three-time Big Ten Coach of the Year, repeats as the ITA Midwest Region Coach of the Year. She led the Buckeyes to a second-consecutive 11-0 record in Big Ten regular season matches to claim the Big Ten regular season title and won the league tournament for the second year in a row. The squad is 30-2 overall, with wins in its last 16 matches. Ohio State, currently ranked second with five ranked singles players, earned the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The squad, in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth year in a row, posted two NCAA wins at home last weekend to advance to the Round of 16 for the second straight campaign.
The Buckeyes, 30-2 on the year, will take on South Carolina in the NCAA Championship Round of 16 at noon Friday in Athens, Ga.
