The 2010 Big Ten women’s tennis season came to an end Friday afternoon in the NCAA Singles Championships round of 16 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on the University of Georgia campus.

Northwestern’s Maria Mosolova, who was the final remaining singles player in the draw, saw her run for a national championship come to an end as she fell to Jana Juricova of California, 6-3, 7-6(8). The Wildcat junior was one of three conference singles players and three doubles teams that were selected to the annual tournaments.
