The Big Ten women's outdoor track and field season opens this weekend with three conference teams in action this weekend as Iowa and Wisconsin head to Miami, Fla., to compete in the Hurricane Invitational while Minnesota travels to Conway, S.C., for the Shamrock Invite.

The remaining seven league schools will begin their 2006 campaigns in the upcoming weeks.
