TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Tiffany Ofili, Michigan
So., Ypsilanti, Mich./Ypsilanti
Ofili broke her own school record with an NCAA Regional qualifying time of 13.01 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Stanford Invitational over the weekend. The sophomore shaved .35 seconds off her previous best time and now owns the second-best finish in the event in all of NCAA Division I this outdoor season. Ofili also posted career-bests at the meet in the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of 11.96 and 24.46, respectively. The award is Ofili's first career outdoor honor.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Liz Roehrig, Minnesota
Jr., Chilton, Wis./Chilton

Roehrig qualified automatically for the NCAAs with a score of 5,621 in the heptathlon at the Bobby Lane Arlington Invitational. The junior broke her own school record by 123 points and surpassed the Olympic qualifying B standard. During the competition, the Chilton, Wis., native also qualified for NCAA Regionals in the high jump with a leap of 5'10.00". This is Roehrig's second career outdoor honor as she was named Athlete of the Week on April 4, 2005.
