Cox receives her first career outdoor honor after qualifying for NCAA Regionals in two events at the Auburn Tiger Classic over the weekend. The junior came in first with a time of 52.41 in the 400 meters, marking the fastest time in the Big Ten and the third-best in NCAA Division I this season. Cox was also part of the 4x400 relay squad that clocked in at 3:34.81, currently the best time in the conference this year.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Astin Steward, Purdue
Jr., Okemos, Mich./Okemos
Steward takes home her first conference honors after posting regional qualifying marks in the discus and hammer throw at the Auburn Tiger Classic. The junior took first in the discus with a distance of 168'04", marking the best toss in the Big Ten this season. Steward then followed her performance by placing third in the hammer throw at 186'03".
