Track Athlete of the Week
Mahagony Jones, Penn State
Jr. – Cleveland, Ohio – Rhodes

  • Placed first in 100-meter dash (11.55), second in the 200-meter dash (23.43) and third in the 4x100-meter relay (45.34) at the Battle of the Bayou
  • All three event times rank third in the Big Ten this season, while the 100- and 200-meter marks are third-best in school history
  • Earns the first outdoor track and field weekly award of her career

Field Athlete of the Week
Tori Franklin, Michigan State
So. – Westmont, Ill. – Downers Grove South

  • Finished first in the triple jump at the Spec Towns National Team Invitational with a mark of 13.13 meters, which ranks first in the Big Ten and sixth in the NCAA this season
  • Hit a mark of 5.26 meters in the long jump
  • Earns her first Big Ten outdoor track and field weekly award
