Angela Bizzarri, Illinois
Jr., Mason, Ohio / Mason

Bizzarri clocked the NCAA's fastest time of the season in the 5,000 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays this past Friday night.  The junior's time of 15:37.39 shatters her previous school record by over eight seconds and betters the NCAA regional qualifying standard by almost 75 seconds.  The reigning national runner-up finished third in the race behind two 2008 Olympians while beating numerous professional runners.  Bizzarri claims her second career Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award.
