Stacey Clausing, Indiana

Clausing garners her second career Athlete of the Week honor after posting two NCAA Regional qualifying times at the Billy Hayes Invitational on Friday. The senior won the 200-meter dash at 23.93, marking her second regional qualification of the season and the third-fastest time in the conference this season. Clausing was also on the first-place 4x100-meter relay squad that clocked in at 45.30, which is also the third-best mark in the Big Ten this year.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Emma Schmelzer, Penn State
So., Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington
Schmelzer takes home her first career conference honor after qualifying for NCAA Regionals in the shot put and discus at the Penn State Open last weekend. The sophomore's first-place distance of 48'08" in the shot put was the best by a Nittany Lion this season and the fifth-best in school history. Schmelzer also won in the discus at 164'05" to qualify for regional competition.
