Leatherman captured the final conference Athlete of the Week honor of the season after tossing three personal best marks and finishing first in as many events last weekend at the Penn State Open. The senior All-American shattered a Penn State and facility record with an NCAA regional qualifying mark of 219'01" (66.78 meters) in the hammer throw. She continued her career-best performances in the discus and shot put, meeting distances of 170'00" (51.81 meters) and 53'08 1/4" (16.36 meters), respectively. Both marks met regional qualifying standards. The Yellville, Ark., native, wraps up her collegiate regular-season career with nine weekly accolades under her belt (indoor and outdoor combined).
