Wisconsin Holds Leads after Day 2 of Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Wisconsin remains in the lead after Day 2 of the Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. The Badgers have 51 points, followed by Penn State and Purdue with 47. Illinois sits in fourth place with 31 points and Michigan has 25.
Illinois' Stephanie Richartz placed first in the pole vault with a mark of 4.27 meters, while Purdue's Dani Bunch earned the shot put crown with an effort of 17.13 meters. Nebraska's Mara Griva won the long jump (6.32 meters), Penn State's Lauren Kenney placed first in the javelin (52.98 meters) and Michigan State's Leah O'Connor won the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:53.53).
The final day of the Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships begins Sunday at 11 a.m. ET.
