Wisconsin Track & Field Leads after Second Day of Competition

Wisconsin claimed the lead on Saturday at the Dan McClimon Track/Soccer Complex. The Badgers have 52 points, followed by Penn State with 39 and Purdue with 32. Minnesota sits in fourth place with 27 points and Michigan State has 25.

Purdue earned two first-place finishes on Saturday, led by Dani Bunch (shot put, 16.46 meters) and Leah Eber (long jump, 6.21 meters). Penn State's Laura Loht won the javelin (49.05 meters) and Michigan State's Leah O'Connor took home the steeplechase crown (10:12.36).

The final day of the Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships begins Sunday at 10:55 a.m. CT.
