Ohio State Claims First Big Ten Outdoor Championship

Full Recap The Ohio State women took its first time title on the final day of the 2011 Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Francis Cretzmeyer Track at the University of Iowa. The Buckeyes finished with 135 points, followed by Penn State who tallied 122 points for second-place and Indiana earned third with 96 points. Illinois (90) and Michigan State (74.50) rounded out the top five finishers. The Buckeyes earned six Big Ten titles in the following events: triple jump, 4x100-meter relay, 100 and 200 meter dashes, 400-meter run and the 400-meter hurdles.
