Five Big Ten student-athletes finished in the top eight of their respective events on Day 1 of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Ore, which can be found below. The Big Ten will be well-represented at the 2013 NCAA Championships this week, as 130 student-athletes from all 11 Big Ten men's and women's outdoor track and field teams set to compete at the national meet. The four-day event, held in Eugene, Ore., at the University of Oregon, begins Wednesday and concludes on Saturday.
The championships get underway at Noon PT on Wednesday, while Thursday's competition begins at 11 a.m. Friday's action starts at 12:30 p.m., and Saturday's events begin at 1 p.m. ESPN3/ESPNU will broadcast the majority of the meet, with supplementary webcasting on Pac-12 Live Stream.
