The third day of the 2008 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships have concluded with many Big Ten student-athletes advancing to the finals. Highlighting Friday's action was Illinois' Angela Bizzarri as the sophomore crossed the 5,000-meter finish line second in a time of 15:46.08. On the team side, Penn State is poised to move up in the standings as the Nittany Lions sit in tied-for-12th place with a plethora of talent left to compete. Action begins again on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT with the conclusion of the women's heptathlon. For the third consecutive year, CBS will broadcast the final day of competition, airing live footage from 3-5 p.m. CT on Saturday.
