Co-Player of the Week
Lexi Erwin, Michigan
OH – Jr. – Spring, Texas – Woodlands College Park

  • Led No. 23 Michigan to wins over Nicholls State (3-0), North Florida (3-1), Virginia Tech   (3-2) and Missouri (3-0) and the Tiger Invitational title
  • Hit .443 over the weekend, averaging 5.9 kills, 2.6 digs and 0.6 blocks per set      
  • Set a career high with 29 kills against Virginia Tech, tallying only two errors in 67 swings for a .403 hitting percentage
  • Named Tiger Invitational Most Valuable Player
  • Reels in her first Player of the Week Award

Lauren Cook, Nebraska

  • Guided the Husker attack to wins over Saint Louis (3-0), No. 1 UCLA (3-2) and Notre Dame (3-0)
  • Notched double-doubles in all three matches, including 56 assists and 22 digs against the Bruins
  • Averaged 10.7 assists, 4.4 digs and 0.4 blocks per set
  • Earns her first Big Ten weekly award

Defensive Player of the Week
Katie Slay, Penn State

  • Helped No. 3 Penn State earn 3-0 wins over Morehead State, Western Kentucky and Louisville at the Active Ankle Challenge
  • Led the Nittany Lions with 16 total blocks over the weekend, averaging 1.78 blocks per set
  • Tied for second on the team with 25 kills over three matches with a .500 hitting percentage
  • Earns her fourth Defensive Player of the Week award

Freshman of the Week
Katie Gallagher, Indiana
S – Elmhurst, Ill. – York

  • Pushed Indiana to wins over Stony Brook (3-1), Army (3-1) and Quinnipiac (3-0) en route to the Black Knight Invitational crown
  • Averaged 12.9 assists and 3.5 digs in the three matches, notching double-doubles against Stony Brook (54 assists, 14 digs) and Army (52 assists, 17 digs)    
  • Led the Hoosiers with 38 digs on the weekend, adding four blocks
