Player of the Week
Ali Frantti, Penn State
OH - Sr. - Spring Grove, Ill. - Richmond Burton
• Averaged 4.6 kills and 1.4 digs per set to help No. 3 Penn State defeat No. 4 Stanford and Colorado in the 2017 Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge
• Recorded a season-high 20 kills, while adding five digs and a pair of blocks for a hitting percentage of .320 in the five-set victory over Stanford
• Added 17 kills, six digs and hit .469 in the straight-set win over Colorado
• Earns her first career Player of the Week award

Defensive Player of the Week
Tionna Williams, Wisconsin
MB - Jr. - Fort Wayne, Ind. - Concordia Lutheran
• Averaged 3.0 kills and 2.8 blocks per set with a .500 hitting percentage to pace Wisconsin to the team title at the HotelRED Invitational
• Named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player
• Claimed a Wisconsin three-set single-match record with 11 blocks against Lipscomb
• Collects her sixth career Defensive Player of the Week accolade and first this season

Setter of the Week
Kelly Hunter, Nebraska
S - Sr. - Papillion, Neb. - Papillion-La Vista South
• Posted 75 set assists to average 12.5 per set, guiding No. 12 Nebraska to a pair of victories over No. 11 UCLA
• Registered her first double-double of the season with 31 assists and 14 digs in the Huskers’ sweep of UCLA on Saturday night
• Averaged 2.7 digs per set on the weekend and led the team to a .301 hitting percentage
• The two time Academic All-Big Ten honoree receives her seventh career Setter of the Week citation and first of the season

Co-Freshmen of the Week
Hannah Gruensfelder, Ohio State
L - Weldon Spring, Mo. - St. Joseph Academy
• Recorded 54 digs, nine assists and handled 32 error-free service receptions to help Ohio State split the weekend against Notre Dame
• Registered 38 digs at Notre Dame on Sunday, the most ever by a Buckeye in a four-set contest
• Expanded her season average to 5.03 digs per set, which leads the Big Ten
• Receives her first career Freshman of the Week award

Dana Rettke, Wisconsin
MB – Fr. – Riverside, Ill. – Riverside-Brookfield
• Averaged 4.2 kills and 1.5 blocks per set with a .512 hitting percentage as No. 6 Wisconsin posted sweeps over Lipscomb and Texas A&M to claim the HotelRED Invitational team title
• Recorded 13 kills, 21 set assists and five blocks for a .571 hitting percentage against Lipscomb
• Registered 12 kills, 22 set assists and four blocks to lead the Badgers past Texas A&M
• Garners her second career Freshman of the Week honor
