Fawcett picks up the fifth weekly honor of her career after leading the Nittany Lions to sweeps against Iowa and No. 11 Minnesota over the weekend. Against the Hawkeyes on Friday, the junior racked up 18 kills on .351 hitting, also contributing five digs. Against the nationally ranked Gophers on Saturday, Fawcett put down 23 kills complemented by two service aces and a team-leading five blocks. For the weekend, the Zanesfield, Ohio, native averaged 6.8 kills per game on .329 hitting with six blocks and two aces to combine for a 7.75 points-per-game average.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Stevens receives defensive honors for the first time in her career after averaging 4.9 digs per game against No. 11 Minnesota and Iowa over the weekend. The senior posted match-highs with 25 digs versus the Gophers and 19 against the Hawkeyes as her total against Minnesota marked a season best. Stevens handled 66 of 68 (.971) service receptions successfully, including a perfect 38-for-38 mark against Minnesota. The Centerburg, Ohio, native also contributed three assists and three service aces on the weekend.
