Player of the Week:
Brown claims Big Ten Player of the Week for the second time this season after leading Penn State into a tie for first-place in the Big Ten with weekend sweeps of No. 9 Illinois and Wisconsin. The senior led the Nittany Lions with 14 kills to go along with five digs and five blocks against the Badgers on Friday, then recorded a team-high 13 kills and seven digs in a three-set win over the ninth-ranked Illini to pull even in the conference race. Brown averaged 4.5 kills on .463 hitting, 2.0 digs and 1.2 blocks on the week, taking home her third career weekly honor.

Defensive Player of the Week:
Granquist is honored with her third Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week award after finishing with back-to-back 22-dig performances in the Gophers' weekend wins over No. 16 Michigan and Michigan State. The junior was part of the Minnesota defense which held opponents to .143 hitting on the weekend, while her 22 digs in each match, a three-setter versus Michigan and a five-set contest against Michigan State, are tied for the third-most in the conference this season. She averaged 5.5 digs on the weekend and also received 42 of 43 service attempts.

Freshman of the Week:
McClendon wins Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors for the fourth time this season, earning the honor this week after averaging 3.7 kills on .553 hitting and 1.7 digs in Penn State's weekend sweeps of No. 9 Illinois and Wisconsin. The freshman recorded back-to-back double-digit kill matches, finishing with 10 against the Badgers and 12 versus the Illini. She added three digs and three blocks against Wisconsin, while her seven digs against Illinois gave her 10 for the week.
