Penn State junior setter Alisha Glass was named Sports Imports/AVCA National Division I Player of the Week, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Tuesday.

The award is the third of Glass’s career and the first for the top-ranked Nittany Lions this season. The honor marks the fourth time this season a Big Ten volleyball player has been named National Player of the Week and the third time the distinction has been by the AVCA.
