Five Big Ten students were named to the CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) Academic All-America Division I Volleyball teams as announced by CoSIDA on Thursday afternoon.
Minnesota’s Paige Tapp and Nebraska’s Kadie Rolfzen were first team selections, while Purdue’s Ashley Evans was a second team honoree. Penn State’s Haleigh Washington was a third team honoree along with Wisconsin’s Lauren Carlini.
Evans earns a spot on one of the three teams for the third time in her career, while Tapp and Washington earn the recognition for the second time. Carlini and Rolfzen claim the honor for the first time.
