Minnesota 3, Florida 1-The ninth-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers (26-7) advanced to the NCAA Regional Finals for the third time in four years, as they defeated Florida (30-3) at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on Friday, Dec. 8. Full Story

Penn State 3, Purdue 0-The fifth-ranked Penn State women's volleyball team needed only an hour and 17 minutes to sweep No. 18 Purdue (30-24, 30-18, 30-15) in the NCAA Regional Semifinals Friday night in Seattle, Wash. Texas 3, Wisconsin 0-The season for the 10th-ranked Wisconsin volleyball team came to an end with a 30-19, 30-22, 30-12 loss at eighth-ranked Texas in the NCAA Regional semifinals. The Badgers end their season 26-7 while Texas improves to 24-6 and will take on the Stanford in the regional final on Saturday. Full Story

Washington 3, Ohio State 0-The 11th seeded Ohio State (25-8) women's volleyball team fell 0-3 (16-30, 18-30, 18-30) to sixth-seeded Washington (28-4) in the second semifinal match of the Seattle Regional in front of 6,846 fans. The Huskies will face third-seeded Penn State (32-2), a 3-0 (30-24, 30-18, 30-15) winner over 14th-seeded Purdue (23-11) in the first semifinal. Washington and Penn State will play Saturday at 9 p.m. ET in the Bank of America Arena for a berth in the NCAA Championship semifinals, Dec. 14. Full Story
