Minnesota 3, Georgia Tech 2
The fourth-ranked Minnesota volleyball team (31-4) team outlasted No. 20 Georgia Tech (27-7) in five games by scores of 25-30, 30-22, 30-24, 48-46, 15-9 to advance to its second NCAA Regional Final in school history on Friday, Dec. 10 at the Sports Pavilion. Story

Ohio State 3, Tennessee 2
Down two games to none to 12th-seed Tennessee (32-3 overall), the fifth-seeded Ohio State (30-3) women's volleyball team rallied to win the final three games for a 3-2 (29-31, 27-30, 30-16, 30-26, 15-12) victory in the NCAA Championship Regional Semifinals in the Sports Pavilion on the University of Minnesota campus. Wisconsin 3, Hawaii 2
It took five games but the 22nd-ranked and 14th-seeded Wisconsin volleyball team upset second-ranked and third-seeded Hawai'i in the NCAA Regional semifinals at the Resch Center. The Badgers edged the Rainbow Wahine, 31-29, 30-23, 22-30, 28-30, 21-19 to advance to their first regional final since 2000. Wisconsin improves to 22-9 on the season while Hawai'i ends its previously unbeaten season at 30-1. Story

UCLA 3, Penn State 1
The third-ranked Penn State women's volleyball team fell to UCLA in four games (24-30, 30-22, 25-30, 28-30) in the NCAA Regional Semifinal match in Seattle on Friday night. The Nittany Lions end their season with a 29-3 record while the Bruins improve to 21-10. Story
