Women's National Coaches' Preseason Poll Features Six Conference Teams
Michigan claimed the 2016 Big Ten Championships title, and enters the 2017 campaign ranked No. 3 in the preseason coaches' poll.

The NCAA DI Cross Country Women’s National Coaches’ Preseason Poll was unveiled on Tuesday, with six Big Ten teams receiving votes among the top 30.

Michigan, the defending Big Ten Champion, enters the season ranked No. 3 in the preseason poll, followed by No. 11 Penn State, No. 14 Wisconsin, No. 16 Michigan State and No. 24 Minnesota. Indiana also received votes in the ballot.

The 2017 Big Ten Women’s Cross Country season will commence on Friday, Sept. 1, with Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue and Rutgers all in action.
