Brown earns her first career Runner of the Week award after leading the Golden Gophers to an impressive second-place finish at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational last week, defeating six nationally ranked teams in the process. The Minnesota junior placed ninth overall, posting a career-best time of 21:17 and the eighth-fasted 6K time in school history. Her performance helped the Gophers jumped from being unranked in the preseason and first poll of the season to No. 11 this week, which is the second-highest national ranking in school history.
