WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Diane Nukuri, Iowa
Jr., Pickering, Ontario/Butler County CC

At the Auburn Invitational last weekend, Nukuri led the Hawkeyes to a win in the 24-team field in record fashion.  The junior's winning 5K time of 16:10 broke the 23-year-old school record of 16:36, which was set in 1983 by NCAA champion and six-time distance All-American Nan Doak. Nukuri, who has competed in two races for Iowa, now holds both the school 3,000 and 5,000-meter records.

This is Nukuri's first career weekly honor from the conference office.

Last IOWA ROW: Meghan Armstrong (9/6/05)
